Feelings of... Contempt?

I feel so depressed lately.
My sister is moving to Colorado next month and I want to spend all the time in the world with her until she leaves.

The love of her life also lives in Colorado, and she'll be spending the rest of her time with him while over there. She talks to him almost every night, and they never go more than two days without talking.

The past few days, I've become incredibly fascinated with spiders. There are at least a half a dozen on my back porch alone that set up webs every night. I've taken a real liking to them, especially the biggest one, who builds a web spanning from a large tree in our yard to the ground, to the posts on our porch, as well as the flag that rests on said post. It's a rather massive web, but I haven't gotten the chance to measure it, yet, I'll be sure to do that when I go to check on them tonight.

Anyway, my sister and I have talked about these spiders; what do they do with their webs during the day? I've seen a spider pack its web before, it was rather fascinating; it started from the bottom and worked its way up, taking down each support, then going to the last, topmost support and reeling it in like a fishing pole; it was a pretty incredible sight. Our question was--what do they do with the webs? They pack them up, then what?

I jokingly suggested that they eat them, and she said, 'Naw.'
I looked it up just now. Turns out, only the females spin webs; so if you tear down a web and kill a spider, you're killing a mummy! Shame on you! Also, the spiders do indeed eat the webs, they totally recycle.

This makes me love spiders even more, they're so amazing. Think about it, they do so much for the environment: They eat pests, such as flies and mosquitoes; they mind their own business--mind you spiders are NOT aggressive UNLESS they feel threatened, so mindlessly killing them is just plain hateful.

Also, check out this idiot who I want to punch in the face so bad: [link]

Back to my sister: We had been wondering about this [the web thing] a long time, and I finally figured it out. When I went to tell her, she was on the phone with ColoradoBoy (I'm not being mean, really. He's a really nice guy) and totally ignored me.

Okay, I get that he's her boyfriend, and stuff. But I can't help but feel neglected... And, yes, I realize I'm being a bratty child about it; sue me, I love my sister and want to spend every waking moment of my life with her: she has this amazingly GREAT thing about her that -shrugiunno- I just want to stay with her forever. And it saddens me that some people can hate their siblings. -scoff- Back on topic now!

Maybe it's just that time of the month or something (fyi; it's totally not D: ) but I feel super depressed and imotional about it. Should I? Should I just say 'Well, fuck you, too, sister, I don't want to talk to you either.' or should I actually care about it? I feel so lonely and I wanna go be emo in a corner or something now.

Peace Out,
~YunalanaStarphyer
